Relay started with a simple observation: most support teams spend their days answering questions their help center already answers.
Our story
In 2023, our founders ran support at a fast-growing online store. Every night the inbox filled with the same twenty questions. Every morning the team spent three hours answering them before they could help anyone with a real problem.
We built Relay to take those questions off their plate, using the store’s own help docs and the store’s own voice. It worked so well that other teams asked for it. Today Relay answers customers for 2,400 companies in 50+ languages, and the people on those teams get to do the work only people can do.
